Restaurant Zum Alten Kurhaus in Annweiler am Trifels

My pizza tasted very good, even if it was a little too moist for my taste. The service was ok.

As always, the food was very good. We didn't like the fact that the waitress wore the face mask under the nose so that the nose was completely free.

A nice waitress accidentally spilled wine on my lap. That can of course happen, but no apology was received. The boss himself cleaned but didn't say a word and was cool. The food was average. The ambience of the restaurant, however, is very nice.

Ambience very nice. Especially the outdoor seating. Unfortunately the pizza was "sloppy", there was a lot of liquid on it and therefore not at all crispy. Pizza was made with fresh ingredients.

Has a nice beer garden. Personally, I think that the prices for drinks and food are a bit too high.

Together with my wife we ​​went to the restaurant "Zum alten Wasserrad" on August 25th, 2020. What a nice ambience! What a pretty beer garden! What such an unfriendly waitress! The Italian chef himself, watering the garden plants, reluctantly threw the menus on the table - it was only 5:30 p.m. Where was the friendly Italian that we knew from other trips, from other restaurant visits? He also showed his extremely unfriendly manner to other guests. With "Here is a reservation!", He pointed the friendly people to another place. Unfortunately, this kind of food, which was continued throughout our entire stay, diminishes the really very good food: the pizza was world class.

I was there today (23 august) and found that the prices had increased significantly. Too bad. 9 euros for a salad are now too expensive for me. It's a shame .....

Every meal tasted very good. The starters and desserts are also aesthetically arranged. The service is great, for me it is precisely the right amount of being served and served with interest, but also being able to eat and chat in peace. There is enough space inside as well as outside, even if we approach with two large dogs. There is a treat if you allow it and fresh water. We go regularly and every time everything is great. Thanks to the staff for your commitment.

Amazing place to stay in Annweiler. Friendly people and great food. If your driving in I recommend parking across the creak at Parkplatz Gotthold.

Perfectly adequate and would have scored better if..the room had been properly prepared. Desk lamp and TV were very dusty and there was no water in the room. The bed was comfortable (being positive). I think I was the only guest so a bit more attention should have been possible. Also, I could have chosen eggs for breakfast but the staff only mentioned this after I had finished eating despite coming over to the table several times and asking if everything was ok. The location and building is quite nice, some dedicated parking available and the restaurant was ok. Overall I was slightly disappointed and it wasn't that cheap so must try harder!

Very nice cozy restaurant in a top location in Annweiler. The food is very good and you sit especially in the beer garden dreamlike. Recommendation. Public parking close to the house.

Very nice hotel in a lovely old town. Really looked after my lactose problem.

I loved this place. Seriously. The location, the town, the food. The local taverns for beer. You really can't go wrong. Me and my wife made this a stop on a recent motorbike tour. We loved it.
